  16. This file contains the SCSI driver for the IBM PS/2 Model 57.  The driver,
  17. PS2SCSI.OBJ, has been tested and certified only with the internal host
  18. adapter and internal drivers on IBM's PS/2 Model 57.

  38. This README file of PS2M57.EXE accompanies PS2SCSI.DSK & PS2SCSI.OBJ for
  39. NetWare v2.2.

  41. SCSI DRIVER FOR PS/2 MODEL 57
  42.  
  43. This driver (PS2SCSI.OBJ) has been tested and certified only with the
  44. internal host adapter and internal drivers on the PS/2 Model 57.
  45.  
  46. This updated driver, version 1.13, addresses several problems with version
  47. 1.1 of this driver.  They are:
  48.  
  49. 1)  Version 1.1 of this driver exhibited problems with a CDROM on a
  50. Non-Dedicated 2.2 server.
  51.  
  52. 2)  Version 1.1 of this driver would not show the correct controller number
  53. within Fconsole.
  54.  
  55. 3)  A loss of disk space or problems with partitioning would result from
  56. the use of this driver because the correct number of heads was not passed
  57. to the operating system.

  60. INSTALLATION:
  61.  
  62. To INSTALL this version of the IBM PS/2 SCSI driver:
  63.  
  64. 1)    Copy PS2SCSI.OBJ and PS2SCSI.DSK to the SYSTEM-1 diskette or
  65. subdirectory.

  67. 2)    Run INSTALL and select IBM PS/2 SCSI Disk Driver V1.13.  Regenerate
  68. and install the operating system as you normally would.
